Aston Villa and Everton want to sign former Man Utd fan favourite

Aston Villa and Everton are both reportedly willing to offer Serbia international Nemanja Vidic a return to the Premier League next month.

With both teams looking to strengthen their defensive ranks ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window, it is understood that the Inter Milan ace could have his current contract terminated this winter.

The 34-year-old, who has 56 international caps for his country, has failed to feature for the Serie A giants so far this season having failed to make an impact at the San Siro.

Vidic, who left 13-time Premier League champions Manchester United only last July, made 28 appearances in all competitions for Inter last term.
