Loic Remy has found opportunities limited at Chelsea

Aston Villa are struggling, one win from their first 16 matches leaves the Claret and Blue bottom, and with history against them they face a mountainous task in staying up.

Villa’s issue is simple, not enough goals. They rank joint-bottom of goals scored in the league with 13 and need some guaranteed – the kind Darren Bent and Christian Benteke have previously provided.

Step forward 28-year-old Loic Remy. The striker could be allowed to leave current club Chelsea on loan due to his lack of opportunities and he would bring Villa goals, making him a definite New Year’s wish for boss Remi Garde.

One response to “Aston Villa: Who tops the Villans’ January transfer wishlist?”

  1. Colin says:

I think the point has been missed it’s a question of who would want to come to a club that’s going to be relegated. And yes I am a lifetime Villa supporter who can’t believe what’s happened to our club, the whole thing is a total embarrassment and everyone from the management to the players are a disgrace, I fear for us when we meet Newcastle unless something dramatic happens we are likely to be hammered. I feel for the brilliant supporters who have become a laughing stock, and are being taken for a ride week in and week out, I’m sick of it and I for one won’t be paying to watch any more of this rubbish.
