Aston Villa have been reportedly handed a boost in their pursuit of Ukraine international Roman Zozulya, according to Tribuna.

The Premier League side, who remain rock-bottom in the standings after drawing 0-0 with West Brom at the weekend, are interested in signing the Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk striker during the January transfer window.

The 26-year-old, who has 22 international caps for his country, has scored one goal in just five appearances in all competitions for the Ukrainian outfit this season.

Zozulya recently admitted, “Honestly, it’s my dream – to play in England. I am very glad about such rumours.

“I really want to play there in the Premier League.”
