Premier League new boys Aston Villa have made the most new signings as they try and avoid going straight back down to the Championship, including Bjorn Engels from Stade Reims.

The 24-year-old, who has been linked with Arsenal in the past, spent just a season with the French outfit, but he started 33 of their 36 league games to help them finish eighth in Ligue 1.

Villa boss Dean Smith will hope Engels will play a big part in the Villans’ first season back in the top-flight since they were relegated in 2016.
