After training with former club Arsenal during the MLS off-season, Henry re-joined Arsenal on a two-month loan deal in January 2012.

Handed the No.12 shirt, the Frenchman scored three goals in seven appearances for the The Gunners, including the winner in an FA Cup third round clash against Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium.

In his final outing for the club, Henry scored a 91st minute winner at Sunderland (1-2) in the Premier League – his 228th and final strike for Arsenal.
