Premier League title challengers Arsenal face reigning European champions FC Barcelona at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night in their UEFA Champions League last-16 first-leg match.

Having scored 23 goals in 32 appearances, Neymar is in some form this season; especially when you consider that 11 of those came when Barca were missing their star player Lionel Messi through injury.

Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez knows all about the Gunners’ opponents tonight, having played for three years for the Catalan giants. But since his move to London, the Chile international has gone from Barca back-up to an undoubted Premier League star.

Having netted 25 goals in 52 appearances in his first season over all competitions, the 27-year-old has still plundered ten goals in 25 games this campaign even after a lengthy injury break over the Christmas period.

With Sanchez leading his native Chile to Copa America glory last summer, something that Neymar failed to do with Brazil, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will be hoping that his star man can outshine his fellow South American once again as they go head-to-head.
