Chelsea are reportedly lining up a £30million double move for Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic and Napoli defender Kalidou Coulibaly this summer, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

Incoming Blues boss Antonio Conte is keen to strengthen his defensive options following a disappointing campaign that saw the 2014/15 Premier League champions finish in 10th position, and his eyeing two players he knows well from his time managing in Serie A.

With doubts over the future of Thibaut Courtois, Conte sees Inter stopper Handanovic as the ideal replacement for the Belgian, with the 31-year-old said to be available for around £12million.

Meanwhile, despite John Terry penning a new one-year deal at Stamford Bridge, the club are looking to bring in a new centre-back in the close season, and have been impressed by the performances of Koulibaly, who is rated at around £18million after becoming one of the most dominant defenders in Italy’s top division.
