Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are all reportedly interested in signing Germany international Mats Hummels this summer, according to the Express.

The Premier League trio have been linked with big money moves for the Borussia Dortmund defender, who started in his country’s 3-2 defeat to England inside Berlin’s Olympiastadion on Saturday night.

The 27-year-old, who has 45 international caps for his country and is set to feature for Germany at Euro 2016 in France later this year, has scored two goals and provided two further assists in 41 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit so far this season.

Hummels, who joined Dortmund from FC Bayern Munich back in 2008, has been identified as an ideal replacement for veteran defender John Terry once he leaves the Blues this summer.

Meanwhile incoming City boss Pep Guardiola would like the German as a possible candidate to succeed Citizens captain Vincent Kompany, and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp worked with Hummels during his managerial spell at Dortmund before arriving at Anfield late last year.
