Chelsea are reportedly ready to splash out a whopping £90m this summer in order to land Everton stars John Stones and Romelu Lukaku, according to the Daily Star.
The defending Premier League champions, who currently sit tenth in the English top-flight standings following their most recent 3-0 defeat to the hands of fourth-placed Manchester City last weekend, are thought to be interested in signing the England and Belgium internationals once the current 2015-16 campaign has concluded.
Defender Stones; 21, who has eight international caps for the Three Lions and is in contention to be included in England’s Euro 2016 squad later this year in France, has made 36 appearances in all competitions so far this season for the Toffees.
Meanwhile striker Lukaku; 22, who left Stamford Bridge for Goodison Park back in July 2014 on a permanent deal following a successful loan spell, has scored a sensational 25 goals in 41 games in all competitions for Roberto Martinez’s men so far this term, including six assists.
Lukaku remains Everton’s club-record signing after sealing that marquee £28m switch.
