Chelsea are reportedly ready to loan out Spain international star Cesc Fabregas, according to The Times.
The Premier League side, who currently sit fourth in the English top-flight standings, one point behind joint-league leaders Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool after defeating Southampton 2-0 away from home on Sunday, could decide to offload the out-of-favour central midfielder during the forthcoming January transfer window.
The 29-year-old, who has 117 international caps for his country, has been restricted to just six appearances in all competitions for The Blues so far this season, scoring twice and providing two assists.
Fabregas, who arrived at Stamford Bridge back in June 2014 on a five-year deal following his reported €33m move from La Liga giants FC Barcelona, has started just one Premier League fixture under new boss Antonio Conte this campaign.
Hence the report claims Chelsea are ready to allow the Spaniard to leave on loan in the New Year, freeing up Conte to bring in another midfielder.
