Chelsea beat Southampton 2-0 to make it four wins in a row before Everton visited Stamford Bridge, and what was to follow was arguably one of the best Premier League performances ever.

Conte’s side completely blew away the Toffees back in November, with Eden Hazard’s brace inspiring the Blues to a crushing 5-0 success over Ronald Koeman’s helpless side.

The Belgian gave the hosts the lead after 19 minutes before summer signing Marcos Alonso made it two a minute later.

Diego Costa scored the third just before half time, before Hazard finished an outstanding move to net his second and Chelsea’s fourth 11 minutes into the second half.

Pedro scored the fifth nine minutes later in what was a simply incredible display from Conte’s side, and one that took them top of the Premier League.
