Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, according to the Evening Standard.

The Belgium international looks set set to leave Anfield this summer and has also been linked with a move to fellow Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion plus teams in Germany and France.

At 31, Mignolet has accepted that he is unlikely to gain first-team action for the Reds after due to the form Alisson Becker showed in his debut season since his £66.8million switch from AS Roma last summer.

Alisson has been a rock between the sticks for Liverpool in his debut season.

Liverpool’s current number two would like more first-team action and the Merseyside club are happy to sell him if their price-tag of £8million is met.

It’s claimed Jurgen Klopp is already on the hunt for a replacement for the Belgian, with Southampton’s Alex McCarthy their prime target.

Mignolet has played more than 150 games for Liverpool since moving to the club from Sunderland in 2013 for around £9million.
