West Brom have confirmed the signing of Everton defender, Brendan Galloway on a season-long loan deal on the club’s official website.

The 20-year-old joined the Toffees in 2014 and made his Premier League debut in May 2015, and went on to make 19 first team appearances last season, picking up one assist.

The left-back could make his debut as soon as Tuesday as the Baggies face Northampton in the League Cup, without a first choice right back.

Tony Pulis’ side reportedly beat Newcastle to a deal for the former MK Dons man, with the Toon Army including a option to buy in their loan offer.

Speaking to the club site, the Zimbabwean born player said:

“I’m delighted, it’s a great club and I’m really looking forward to getting started.
“My aims are to play and work hard for the team and help win as many matches as I can, it’s all about winning.”
He continued: “I think for me personally, it’s really important to gain more experience. Coming here is the perfect opportunity to do that.
“I can’t wait to get started and put the shirt on.”

Galloway could make his home debut at The Hawthorns on Saturday as the Midlands outfit host Middlesbrough in the early kick-off.
