England international striker Danny Welbeck is reportedly set to leave Arsenal at the end of the season, according to the Mirror.

The Premier League club, who take on FK Qarabag in Group E of the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening, have been linked with running down the forward’s contract, which expires in June 2019.

The 27-year-old, who has 42 international caps for the Three Lions, has scored four goals in seven appearances in all competitions for The Gunners so far this season.

Welbeck, who arrived at the Emirates Stadium back in September 2014 following his reported £16m move from Premier League rivals Manchester United, has netted 31 times in 119 games overall for the North London outfit.

However, the report claims the England international is set to follow Welsh team mate Aaron Ramsey out of Arsenal on a free transfer next summer, with there being no agreement to extend his current contract at the Emirates.

With Welbeck in the final year of his deal with The Gunners, the striker will be able to talk to foreign clubs from January 1, 2019, about a potential summer move.
