Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester United face each other in the Europa League round of 16, with the first-leg at Anfield being played on Thursday night (20:05).

The Reds, who defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park on Sunday, will be hoping midfielder Adam Lallana can continue his good run of form for Jurgen Klopp’s men after scoring and assisting against Capital One Cup champions Manchester City last week.

Meanwhile the Red Devils; who suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to the hands of West Brom at the weekend, will most likely field Juan Mata, despite the Spaniard being sent off against the Baggies after just 26 minutes.

So with both midfielders set to go head-to-head at Anfield on Thursday night, here is how Liverpool’s Lallana and United’s Mata match up so far this campaign…
