Everton are weighing up possible moves for Juventus’ Mario Mandzukic and Lille’s Rafael Leao, according to reports.
Marco Silva has already added goalkeeper Jonas Lossl, midfielder Fabian Delph, plus sealed a permanent deal for Andre Gomes this summer.
However, the Portuguese boss is looking to bring in a centre-forward as the club have struggled to find a regular goalscorer since Romelu Lukaku left for Manchester United in 2017.
And the Mail Online report that the Toffees are interested in signing strikers Mandzukic, 33, and Leao, 20.
Former Croatia international Mandzukic’s future at the Serie A champions is uncertain with new boss Maurizio Sarri reportedly keen to play Cristiano Ronaldo as a centre-forward.
Meanwhile, it’s claimed that Everton are preparing a club-record £36million offer for Leao, who scored eight goals in 26 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 side last term.
