The first position was probably the hardest to fill, a problem position for both sides. With Jurgen Klopp is in the midst of a dilemma between an under-fire Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet who he opted to replace over the summer, atleast his Everton counterpart, Ronald Koeman, knows where he stands.

Stekelenburg has had his issues this term but is a solid shot-stopper, and his consistent place in the Toffees starting XI gets him a stop in this side.
