Newcastle United could leapfrog Norwich City in the standings and move out of the Premier League’s relegation zone if they manage to defeat Manchester City at St James’ Park on Tuesday night.

The Magpies, who currently lie three points adrift of safety in 19th spot, will be hoping summer signing Aleksandar Mitrovic can find the back of the net once more having scored three goals in his last four league outings.

Meanwhile the Citizens; who climbed up to third in the Premier League table following their 3-0 win over Chelsea on Saturday, possess an in-form world-class striker in Sergio Aguero, who netted a hat-trick against the Blues to increase his goalscoring tally to 26 goals for the season.
