Newcastle United could leapfrog Norwich City in the standings and move out of the Premier League’s relegation zone if they manage to defeat Manchester City at St James’ Park on Tuesday night.

The Magpies, who currently lie three points adrift of safety in 19th spot, will be hoping January addition Andros Townsend can score in his third league outing in a row after netting against Southampton and Swansea City respectively.
