It’s not often two teams meet each other three times in 10 days, but that’s the joy of the FA Cup running simultaneously with the Premier League season.

Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City will be sick of the sight of each other by the final whistle next Tuesday, but both will put the trio of games in quick succession to one side as they return to facing different opponents this weekend.

Spurs face in-form strugglers Sunderland at White Hart Lane this Saturday in the 12:45pm kick-off.

The Black Cats have defeated relegation rivals Swansea City and Aston Villa since the start of the new year and come into the game with striker Jermain Defoe on form.

The former England regular has scored five goals in two Premier League games, which included a hat-trick in the Black Cats 4-2 victory against the Swans on Wednesday evening.

Harry Kane fired in a last minute penalty on Sunday to set up Spurs’ third meeting in a fortnight with Leicester next Tuesday.

This weekend, the current England star will be looking to score his 15th goal of the season against a side fronted by the former Tottenham striker.

Here is how the duo compare this season…
