Two sides with very different aims this season meet at Carrow Road on Sunday when Norwich City play host to Arsenal.

The Canaries are just two places and three points above the Premier League relegation zone, while the Gunners are in fourth, two points behind the surprise leaders, Leicester City.

Arsene Wenger’s team missed the chance to jump to the top of the standings last weekend after they were beaten 2-1 by West Brom at the Hawthorns, while Alex Neil’s men lost 1-0 at fellow strugglers Chelsea.

City’s captain, Russell Martin, missed the trip to Stamford Bridge for personal reasons, but is likely to be back in the starting XI for the visit of the North Londoners, and will come up against the in-form Olivier Giroud.

The France international has scored four goals in his last five top-flight appearances and is undoubtedly a threat to a side that has conceded 24 goals in 13 games.

Here’s how the duo compare so far this term…
