Liverpool are reportedly scouting England international goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, according to the Mirror.
The Premier League side, who defeated Merseyside rivals Everton 1-0 at Goodison Park on Monday night, have been linked with the Sunderland shot stopper ahead of next summer’s transfer window as manager Jurgen Klopp weighs up his options.
The 22-year-old, who has featured nine times for England’s Under-21 side, has kept three clean sheets in 19 appearances in all competitions for The Black Cats so far this season.
Pickford, who received his first call-up to the England senior squad back in October to replace Burnley’s Tom Heaton, is being monitored by The Reds ahead of next year, with fellow goalkeepers Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius failing to nail down the number one jersey convincingly this term.
Liverpool have also been linked with England team-mate and Manchester City star Joe Hart, who is currently on loan at Torino for the 2016-17 season.
