Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been handed a mammoth boost ahead of his side’s Premier League meeting with West Brom on Sunday.

Having missed the bore draw with Jose Mourinho’s Man United at Anfield on Monday, summer signing Georgino Wijnaldum returned to training on Wednesday, the club confirmed.

The return of the former Newcastle man will be a relief to his manager as his side looked disjointed and innefective going forward against the Red Devils on Monday. The Reds were limited to very few chances which has been a rarity for such a free-flowing attacking force this season.

The 25-year-old made the move to Merseyside for an initial fee of £23m over the summer and has bagged two goals in 8 appearances for his new club so far.

Liverpool play host to Tony Pulis’ West Brom in the late kick-off on Saturday and will be looking to make it nine games without loss in all competitions.

Don’t think him being there would have made much of a difference as a parked bus was in the way!
