Liverpool host Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday (5.30pm kick-off) hoping to get back to winning ways after defeat to champions Leicester on Monday.

Jurgen Klopp’s men were lethargic and laboured throughout the 90 minutes at the King Power Stadium, and deservedly went down 3-1 to the managerless Foxes, who had just five days earlier parted company with manager Claudio Ranieri.

A brace from Jamie Vardy and a stunning strike from Danny Drinkwater sealed a comfortable win for the relegation-threatened side, with Philippe Coutinho’s consolation the only moment of cheer for the Liverpool faithful.

It means that Klopp’s men are fifth going into Saturday’s clash with Arsene Wenger’s side, but they know that victory over the Gunners would take them above the North London side, and into the Premier League’s top four.

However, it’s going to be tricky for the Reds as Wenger’s men, who won their last league outing 2-0 at home to Hull, and have since then progressed to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with victory over Sutton United in round five.

Nonetheless, Liverpool have a fine record against the other members of the top six, and they’ll take confidence from that into Saturday’s game despite their loss at the King Power Stadium earlier this week.

Yet, Klopp may decide to make some changes to his side after their poor display, and here are THREE players who should be dropped ahead of the visit of Arsenal on Saturday…
