Klopp should drop these 3 Liverpool players against Arsenal

Lucas Leiva

Former Brazilian international Lucas Leiva had a torrid evening at Leicester on Monday night, deputising at centre-back as he has done at times throughout the campaign.

The 30-year-old, ordinarily a defensive midfielder, struggled to deal with Jamie Vardy’s pace and was left exposed against him far too often by the men in front of him.

He also headed a great chance wide later on which would have given Liverpool hope of a comeback, and against the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott on Saturday, the Reds have to be at their best defensively.

That surely means that there is no place for Lucas in the starting eleven.
