Dutch international Georginio Wijnaldum has made a decent start to his Liverpool career, but Monday night was probably one of his worst displays in a Reds shirt.

The former Newcastle man gave the ball away to Marc Albrighton, who played in Jamie Vardy for the opener, and the Dutchman went to make little impact in the midfield throughout, although he wasn’t the only Liverpool player who had a poor afternoon.

With doubts surrounding the fitness of captain Jordan Henderson, Wijnaldum may be spared the axe, yet if the England international is passed fit, the 26-year-old could find himself out of the starting eleven.
