Leeds United’s move for Sunderland midfielder Liam Bridcutt is hanging in the balance.

The Black Cats agreed to let the 26-year-old join the Championship club on loan until January, but now boss Sam Allardyce says he’s “confused” as to what’s going on after the Whites failed to complete the deal due to the ongoing uncertainty over a proposed takeover.

Bridcutt, who impressed in the second-tier with Brighton, has now returned to training on Wearside.

The ex-Chelsea youngster has failed to hold down a first-team place since Gus Poyet was sacked in March.

I am not suprised that POYET is confused, WHITES supporters have been confused since the second that Cellino walked through the door at LE11 it is a pity that the taxi 5hat he got into that first day didn’t carry on all the way to Manchester airport and put him on a plane back to Italy. Sod off Cellino before the rest of us question our sanity.
