Leeds United are reportedly lining-up a loan move for veteran goalkeeper Richard Wright.

New Whites boss Steve Evans, who succeeded Uwe Rosler at Elland Road earlier this week, is looking to bolster his goalkeeping options after former Chelsea shot stopper Ross Turnbull underwent ankle surgery.

Former England goalkeeper Richard Wright has failed to make a first-team appearance for Manchester City.

Wright, 37, joined Premier League giants Manchester City back in 2012 after leaving Preston North End after just one week, but he has failed to make a first-team appearance for the Citizens ever since.

A former England international; manager Evans sees Wright as the ideal experienced ‘keeper to bring in as back-up to regular number one Marco Silvestri, who himself has struggled with inconsistent form this season.
