Leeds United are now reportedly willing to spend £20,000-a-week to sign Premier League striker Kyle Lafferty on loan, according to The Sun.

The Championship side, who lost 2-0 to Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend, are not giving up on their pursuit of the Norwich City forward this month.

The 28-year-old, who has 44 international caps for Northern Ireland, has played just 13 minutes of Premier League football for Alex Neil’s side this season.

The Canaries prefer to sell Lafferty during the January transfer window, but Whites boss Steve Evans is still persistent in his attempts of pulling off a loan deal for the former Rangers and Palermo hitman.
