Leicester City have reportedly ended their pursuit of Republic of Ireland international star Robbie Brady this summer, according to the Mirror.

The Premier League side, who finished ten points clear of second-placed Arsenal in the English top-flight standings to miraculously lift the title, have been linked with a move for the Norwich City wing-back following their relegation back in May.

The 24-year-old, who has 27 international caps for his country and starred for Ireland at this summer’s EURO 2016 campaign in France, scored three goals and assisted two further strikes in 36 league appearances for the Canaries last season.

Brady, who scored in back-to-back EURO 2016 fixtures against Italy and France respectively as Ireland reached the Round of 16, is understood to be keen on playing Champions League football next term.

However, the Foxes are thought to have pulled out of the race to sign the versatile wing-back, because Norwich have slapped a whopping £20m price tag on the Championship ace.
