Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing England international defender Kieran Gibbs this summer, according to Football Insider.

The Premier League side, who finished eighth in the English top-flight standings this term, but reached the final of the 2016 UEFA Europa League, are ready to try and lure the Arsenal left-back to Anfield ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.

The 26-year-old, who has 10 international caps for the Three Lions but is not included in England’s 23-man squad for EURO 2016 this summer, scored one goal in 27 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners this season.

Gibbs, who has lost his first-team place at the Emirates Stadium to fellow full-back Nacho Monreal, joined Arsene Wenger’s side back in 2004 from Wimbledon after his club disbanded and became Milton Keynes Dons.

With Arsenal ready to cash in on the defender; at which they value him at around £12m, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is ready to offer him more first-team opportunities at Anfield, with Gibbs set to compete with Alberto Moreno for the left-back spot.

I think that both K.G and A.M are ON the same level, but under J.K,Gibbs can do better than A.M.
