Liverpool line-up £22m raid for Belgium starlet

Liverpool have been reportedly linked with a £22m January move for Belgium international Dennis Praet.

The Premier League side, who drew 2-2 with League Two Exeter City in the FA Cup on Friday night, are ready to beat Italian club Fiorentina to the Anderlecht midfielder during this month’s transfer window.

The 21-year-old, who made his international debut against Iceland back in November 2014, has scored four goals and provided six assists in 24 appearances in all competitions this season for the Belgian outfit.

Praet, who has also been linked with moves to Arsenal, Manchester United and West Brom in the past, is highly-rated by Anderlecht and will not be sold for less than the £22m asking price.
