The left-back spot must have been an area of concern for Liverpool fans following Alberto Moreno’s horror show at Arsenal, but James Milner has eased their fears.

The former England international has performed solidly in the role since that Arsenal game, and even chips in with a few goals from the penalty spot now and then.

Although Milner is a dependable player, this lack of an established left-back could haunt the Reds as the season goes on but, for now, the 30-year-old is doing a fine job.
