He hasn’t featured much for Liverpool this season, but Daniel Sturridge proved what a top-quality striker he is for England against Scotland last week.

The former Chelsea and Manchester City forward produced a stunning header to give the Three Lions the lead against their neighbours, brilliantly guiding home a testing Kyle Walker cross to set England on their way.

Despite his lack of football this season, Sturridge looked sharp and led the line well for Gareth Southgate’s side on Friday, and it served as a reminder of what he can do when given the opportunity.
