Pep Guardiola and his Man City side fell to their first defeat of the season at the hands of Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Sunday as an own goal from Aleksandar Kolarov and a tidy finish from Dele Alli dashed all hopes of an invincible Sky Blues season.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side outworked the league leaders in every department and pressed effectively for 90 minutes, which caused one member of the City side some problems.

Summer signing, Claudio Bravo, who was brought in to replace the outcast Joe Hart, looked like an accident waiting to happen at times on Sunday and, despite a penalty save, will have given Guardiola a lot to think about over the international break.

His form has not gone unnoticed by the fans from the blue half of Manchester, who have been voicing their concern on Twitter.

Bravo is a clown, but Pep’s insistence of playing out from the keeper is also very much at fault in the helter skelter of the Premier League it can only work against teams who don’t get after you and press. So yes, I agree, lets have a petition to bring Joe back but somebody have a word with Pep as well please.

Bravo is not a clown.None of the 5 goals conceded in the last two games were his fault. He saved a penalty at the Lane and made other good stops from Son. He must play from the back, as instructed by Guardiola, but if team mates are hiding, none being available, of course he could get harassed by the opposition.

The fault was with the full backs , they were high up the pitch for Bravo to pass on. Every 2nd ball was won by Spurs that day, if Joe was just sending long balls on other side of the pitch the ball would have been with spurs all the time and who knows they were so dominating that they could have scored more . According to all the tweets and comments, You want Hart back, but Hart cannot play the pep way, i hope you understand that. Feel bad for Joe but we have to move on now.

You must have searched hard to find these tweets. It’s laughable that keyboard warriors know better than the best manager in world football. I liked Hart but Bravo is another step up but only as good as the defence around him. Contrary to one tweet his distribution is remarkable. They obviously don’t understand what’s happening and are a poor example in which to cast an attack on a keeper, bar his debut, has been superb.
