Manchester United have reportedly emerged as favourites to sign Chelsea starlet Charly Musonda.
The 13-time Premier League champions, who currently sit 13 points better off than the Blues in fourth place in the table, are ready to make a move for the highly-rated midfielder during the forthcoming January transfer window.
The 19-year-old, who is a Belgium Under-21 international, is yet to make his first-team appearance for the defending league champions, although he has scored one goal in seven Under-21 Premier League games for the club so far this season.
However Musonda is thought to be growing increasingly frustrated at his lack of first-team opportunities at Stamford Bridge this term, with Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal reportedly ready to hand the defensive midfielder a lifeline at Old Trafford in the New Year.
It is thought that United are weighing up a £10.6m move for the Chelsea ace; although they face stiff competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester City, plus Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
