Manchester City are reportedly willing to listen to offers for star striker Sergio Aguero, according to Yahoo! Sport.
The Premier League side, who currently sit fifth in the English top-flight standings following last Sunday’s 4-0 mauling to the hands of Everton at Goodison Park, are understood to be considering offloading the Argentina international as manager Pep Guardiola continues to construct his ideal playing squad at the Etihad Stadium.
The 28-year-old, who has 80 international caps for his country, has impressively scored 18 goals and provided one assist in 23 appearances in all competitions for The Citizens so far this season.
However, the report suggests the former Atletico Madrid hitman is not an ideal fit to the bosses fluid style of play at City and is open to allowing the Argentine to leave.
City confirmed the £27m capture of Brazil starlet Gabriel Jesus on Thursday morning and the former Palmeiras forward is thought to be better suited to Guardiola’s fluid football, as well as the club’s future star.
Aguero has netted 154 goals in 231 games for Manchester City since arriving from Atletico back in July 2011.
