Pep Guardiola will be pretty satisfied with his first three months in English football, having taken over from Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City in the summer.

The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona manager led his side to ten straight wins at the start of the campaign and, despite a tricky spell which saw them go winless in six games, they have won two of their last three league games to sit third in the table.

During their frustrating run, Guardiola’s side lost their only league game of the season so far at Tottenham, and also suffered a 4-0 hammering away at Barcelona in the Champions League.
