Manchester City must snap up these 2 La Liga stars in January

The Barcelona midfielder has won two La Liga titles and the Champions League since moving to the Nou Camp in 2014, but it’s clear that he hugely respects City boss Guardiola.

The 28-year-old has been a key cog in Luis Enrique’s midfield since his move from Sevilla two years ago, and he continues to go from strength to strength with the Spanish giants.

Rakitic has already appeared 124 times for Barcelona in little over two seasons there, proving both how consistent his performances are, and how integral he is to the dynamic of the Barca midfield.

However, his like for Guardiola could open the door for City to test Barcelona’s resolve in the coming transfer window.

The 28-year-old would be a sensational addition to the City midfield, and it’s a deal Guardiola should try and strike in January.
