Manchester City midfielder Patrick Roberts will not be allowed to leave the club on loan.

At least 10 Championship clubs have reportedly registered an interest in taking the 18-year-old on a temporary basis.

However, City boss Manuel Pellegrini wants the England youth international to stay and develop with his first-team squad.

Roberts has made three substitute appearances since signing for Fulham for around £10 million in the summer.
