Manchester United have agreed to make Leicester City star Harry Maguire the world’s most expensive defender, according to reports.
The Red Devils have been linked with the centre-back ever since he excelled for England at the 2018 World Cup.
And after having a £70million offer turned down, The Sun report that United have now met the Foxes’ world-record £80million valuation.
It’s claimed the Old Trafford outfit will pay £60million up front plus an extra £20million in add-ons, surpassing the £75million Liverpool paid Southampton for Virgil van Dijk in January 2017.

Maguire starred for England at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
