Manchester United are considering a move for Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella, according to Gazetta dello Sport via Sport Witness.
Reports suggest that the 21 year-old is keen to move to the Premier League, whilst Serie A club Inter Milan also have Barella on their radar.
However, Financial Fair Play rules could make the move difficult for Inter, with Cagilari putting a €50 million valuation on their young star.

Italian reports state Barella wouldn’t be able to turn down a move to Manchester United, understandable as since caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer joined in December his side have had a faultless eight wins out of eight, raising the chances of a top four league finish.
Although a summer move is more likely with Solskjaer all but ruling out any January transfer deals in his most recent press conference.
Manchester United fans will be willing to wait for the young Italian who has already made four appearances for his national side and has been a solid performer in Serie A this season.
