Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign Armenia international ace Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The 13-time Premier League champions, who defeated Crystal Palace in the 2016 FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium last month, but could only finish fifth in the English top-flight standings, have emerged as potential suitors for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder.
The 27-year-old, who has 59 international caps for his country, scored a remarkable 23 goals and provided 32 assists in 52 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit this season.
Mkhitaryan; who is also attracting interest from fellow Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham, plus Serie A champions Juventus, is believed to be unwilling to sign a new contract with the German club.
The report suggests that the Red Devils have already made enquiries about the right winger, as new United boss Jose Mourinho looks to make his mark at Old Trafford since replacing Louis van Gaal.
