Manchester United are reportedly hopeful of tempting Algeria international Sofiane Feghouli to Old Trafford this summer, according to Fichajes.

The 13-time Premier League champions, who currently lie fifth in the standings respectively after last weekend’s 2-1 surprise defeat against lowly Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, were linked with a move for the Valencia winger during the recent January transfer window.

The 26-year-old, who has 37 international caps for his country, has scored four goals and provided three assists in 22 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga outfit so far this season.

Feghouli; who was originally born in Levallois-Perret, France, is currently playing for the Spanish side under the management of former United defender Gary Neville.

The report suggests that Louis van Gaal’s side are hopeful of snapping up the Algerian forward on a free transfer this summer as Feghouli has yet to agree a new deal at the Mestalla so far this campaign.

If Shrewsbury beat us on Monday does it mean Woodward will give Van Gaal a new contract. Its about time Utd showed some balls and got rid of present management team(exclude Giggs) and got Mourinho in to give us some respect and stability.
