Manchester United star Anthony Martial is reportedly closing in on a move to Juventus, according to the Mirror.
The Premier League side, who face Leicester City at Old Trafford on the opening weekend of the 2018-19 campaign, have been linked with losing the France international forward after his agent Philippe Lamboley admitted his client wants to leave this summer.
The 22-year-old, who has 18 international caps for his country, scored 11 goals and provided nine assists in 45 appearances in all competitions for The Red Devils last season.
Martial, who arrived at The Theatre of Dreams back in September 2015 following his initial £36m switch from AS Monaco, has netted 36 goals in 136 games overall for the club.
However, the report claims the striker is ‘discussing personal terms’ with Serie A champions Juve ahead of a potential summer transfer, though no fee has been agreed between the two clubs, with United expected to demand £80m for the Frenchman’s services.
Martial missed out on a place in France’s squad for this summer’s World Cup finals in Russia, and is contracted at The Red Devils until June 2019.
United have completed four transfers so far in this summer’s transfer window, signing defender Diogo Dalot from FC Porto and midfielder Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk, whilst selling defender Joe Riley to Bradford City and loaning goalkeeper Dean Henderson to Sheffield United.
