Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are all reportedly interested in snapping up France youth international Presnel Kimpembe, according to Le Parisien.

The Premier League trio, who all sit seventh, fourth and fifth in the current top-flight standings, are understood to have been drawn to the young centre-back’s talent following his impressive performances for defending Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain this campaign.

The 21-year-old, who has nine caps for the French Under-21 side, has made eight appearances in all competitions for PSG so far this season.

Kimpembe, who made his first-team debut for the club back in October 2014 after replacing Thiago Motta against Lens, received his first call-up to the senior France squad earlier this month after Eliaquim Mangala withdrew due to injury.

However the reports suggest that PSG are eager to tie down the highly-rated defender to a new deal, on improved terms, in a bid to stave off his Premier League potential suitors.

  1. THE SEER says:

He would be wise to give Man Utd a miss as we could all see last night at Anfield they already have ten first team defenders with more waiting on the bench. If he wants to be inspired by the leadership qualities of the club captain he needs to be on the bench or hope that J-M makes a double sub with 12 to 18 mins to go. There again if he wants to strut and posture while doing very very little, his fellow country man Pogba will make him a hit with the desperate fans, or he can look over his shoulder and see where the last two managers are ? one jobless and the other at the bottom of the EPL with his current club propping up the rest on 2 solitary points. GLORY GLORY MAN UTD ha ha ha what you now are “is what you deserve.”
