Manchester United are reportedly ready to put aside a staggering £150m in a bid to sign Brazil superstar Neymar this summer, according to Fichajes (via the Daily Star).

The Premier League giants, who currently lie sixth in the standings, despite defeating arch rivals Manchester City 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium last weekend, have been linked with a move for the FC Barcelona forward once the current 2015-16 campaign concludes.

The 24-year-old, who has an incredible 46 goals in 69 international caps for his country, has found the back of the net an astonishing 27 times and provided a further 23 assists in just 38 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga leaders so far this season.

Neymar, who began his career in his native homeland with Santos, is wanted at Old Trafford next term following what looks to be a major overhaul at Old Trafford this summer, with the report suggesting that the Red Devils after ready to blow a £300m budget on player recruitment.
