Manchester United are reportedly keeping close tabs on West Ham United winger Michail Antonio, according to Football Insider.

The 13-time Premier League champions, who suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat to the hands of West Brom at The Hawthorns on Sunday, have been very impressed by the forward’s performances so far this term in the English top-flight.

The 25-year-old, who started his career at non-league side Tooting & Mitcham United, has scored 11 goals in 26 appearances in all competitions for Slaven Bilic’s men so far this season.

Antonio, who arrived at the Boleyn Ground from Championship club Nottingham Forest back in September in a deal worth around £7m, netted his third consecutive Premier League goal against Everton on Saturday.

The report suggests that the Red Devils are in the market for a player with power and pace who can play on the right flank, with Antonio an identified target this summer.

Antonio signed a four-year deal with West Ham last year, with the option for a further two years with the Londoners.

Even if this story were true, why would an exciting talent like Antonio want to team up with a club in disarray like United who won’t be in the Champions League when he can play for us in the CL at the Olympic Stadium as an existing club favourite??

Why Would he leave a good place to go to a miserable place?
