Marcos Rojo set to leave Manchester United following the signing of Harry Maguire, according to the Daily Star.

The left-back come centre-back has spent five seasons at Old Trafford, but was already limited to first time opportunities before the arrival of Maguire.

Everton are a club who could be tempted to sign the Argentina international, having lost Phil Jagielka to Sheffield United and Kurt Zouma return to Chelsea at the end of his loan period.

Everton boss Marcos Silva is keen to replace Phil Jagielka.

At 29-years-old, United are hoping to receive a fee in the region of £25million for Rojo, despite the fact he only managed six appearances for the first team last campaign having suffered a couple of injuries.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not hidden from the fact that the Red Devils may have to sell players this summer, especially in central defence as he now has seven first team players in that position.

However, with three years left on the former Sporting Lisbon player’s contract, United can hold out for the fee they are after, without fear of losing the player.
