Millwall are reportedly interested in signing free agent Jermaine Grandison.

The 6ft 4in defender is currently training with Shrewsbury Town despite being out-of-contract with the newly promoted League One side after turning down a new deal from the club at the end of last season.

Grandison, 24, scored two goals in 42 appearances in all competitions for Shrewsbury last term after finishing as runners-up in League Two.

It is understood that the newly promoted outfit are desperate to re-sign Grandison and striker Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro ahead of the forthcoming 2015-16 campaign, with Neil Harris’ Lions being Shrewsbury’s first opponents on Saturday at the Greenhous Meadow.
